11111Works great! No Video Lag!
Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2019
I have the Apple Airpods (2nd Gen) and have been using them for working out. I have been concerned with how much I sweat and them not being sweat/water resistant. So I’ve been looking for alternatives.
I tried both the PowerBeats Pro and the Apple AirPod Pros, but I couldn’t bear the in-ear pain I would get from them.
So, I decided to look for a bluetooth receiver that would allow me to use the EarPods (like Airpods, just with a cord) that would work just as well.
These have bluetooth 5.0 connection, which most have 4.1 or 4.2.
These also hold a great charge, connected directly with my iPhone and are easily charged.
The clip is great, it holds on throughout my workout.
The best thing is that the sound is good and there is no video lag!
I know there would be no lag noticed through my music, but I thought there would be some lag on youtube videos
or my iTunes movies, but there wasn’t any.
I really like this receiver, the 3D sound adds some bass to the sound.
Only two gripes:
Uses a micro-USB connection to charge (everything should be lightning or type C).
Cannot control my volume using my Apple EarPod buttons.
However, Siri does work by pressing the microphone button.
Calls have been clear and everything is working great.
Really one of the better buys I’ve made on Amazon.
Thanks.

I got the Bluetooth adapter to play music from my iPhone on a vintage Bang and Olufen system that I purchased about 25 years ago. I had a cable that I was connecting to my phone, but with the new iPhone XI, it was not possible to do so, hence the need. Pairing the with my iPhone was a breeze and in a very short time, I was playing Coldplay on my B&O. Few things:
1. Manufacturer recommended fully charging and then using- which is what I did. Did not play continuously, but the battery life is long. I have charged it only once in 3 weeks, so the charge holds.
2. One feature that I find utilitarian is that the clip is handy. I have a Bose headset that is not Bluetooth compatible. Now I can use that to listen without feeling the bulk to carry. Easily clips on the shirt just like the old Apple clip on iPod.
3. It is most recent version of Bluetooth (5.0), but I have not used all of its capabilities. I will add to the review as I make use of them.
I felt it was the best one on features looks etcetera at the time of my purchase, and has turned out very good. Very pleased.

11111 This device easily handles that much info
Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2019
All I can say is wow. This little device works PERFECTLY. Have yet to hear it drop out any audio at all. I designed an iOS app called PIANOSTREAM for player pianos. I have to send audio and MIDI data to the piano so that audio will be heard through the speakers and so that the MIDI data will make the keys play. Long story short, that’s a lot of data. This device easily handles that much info.
I love how my phone automatically connects to it. I don’t have to go to settings every time and connect to the device. It’s always connected. I can play my piano any time I want and once again it works perfectly. Its range is also very nice. Plenty for what I’m doing.Thank you for a wonderful product at a very fair price. I will be sharing this on my website and also on the app store.

11111Works well for my car

I put this in on my car since I still have an old model without bluetooth and it did the trick. All the bluetooth receiving functions now connect to my phone pretty easily. I also do not need to fiddle with my phone for volume control on the bluetooth since the box has buttons on it. Probably the best part of it was the microphone button for easily muting myself when I burp over a phone call – which is not easy to do anywhere else without directly looking at my phone while driving (BAD!).

11111Battery Only Lasts 20 to 30 Minutes
Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2019
UPDATE: Now that I’ve had the receiver for a couple days, I’ve come to discover that the battery only lasts about 20 to 30 minutes under continuous use. As of 2019/11/27 I’m looking into a return for refund.
From a functionality perspective, this thing is quality – it sounds great, the mic works well, and some pieces, like the power switch, are absolutely brilliant. Overall, especially for online conferencing (e.g., zoom or webex), this is a very solid choice.
The response and fidelity for music playback, especially for Bluetooth, are better than average – but to be sure, you could do better. I suspect that only audiophiles – who wouldn’t be doing playback over Bluetooth in the first place – would actually complain in this regard.
That all said, some other components are not so well-designed – and these complaints keep me from giving this adapter 5 stars:
► It’s almost impossible to use the clip without activating the mute and/or play control/pairing button. The immediate solution is to leave the adapter off until it’s clipped on your shirt (or wherever you’re going to clip it).
► The headset jack is only 3 connectors, so if you plug in a mic’d headset, the headset mic is rendered useless and requires that the adapter be clipped relatively near your mouth.
Overall, I would recommend this adapter for most customers.
